Content Removal Requests

Eggcellent's recipe directory helps people discover cooking videos. For each video we show the title, the creator's name, a small preview thumbnail, and factual details like cook time and ingredients — always with a link to the original video on its home platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and others). We never republish video content or full recipe instructions, and every listing is designed to send viewers to the original creator.

Are you the creator or rights holder?

If your video appears in our directory and you would like it removed — or if you would like the listing corrected (wrong creator name, outdated link, etc.) — email us and we will take care of it promptly, no questions asked.

Send your request to support@eggcellent.io with the subject line “Content Removal”.

What to include

  • The Eggcellent page URL(s) where your content appears
  • The URL of your original video
  • Something that shows you are the creator or rights holder (for example, an email from the address listed on your channel, or a message from your channel's account)
  • Whether you want the listing removed entirely or corrected

Formal DMCA notices

You do not need a formal notice — a simple email is enough. If you prefer to submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), send it to support@eggcellent.io and include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work and the material you want removed, with its URL on our site
  • Your contact information (name, email address)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Response time

We aim to act on removal requests within 2 business days. Removals apply to our directory pages, structured data, and sitemaps; search engines may take additional time to reflect the change.
